European Entry Doors in Minnesota
If you can feel cold air around your front door or see frost on the lock side, it isn't sealing. We build European entry doors for Minnesota winters in our Coon Rapids shop, each one sized to the opening. Multi-point locks pull the door tight top to bottom, and compression seals close the gap a single deadbolt leaves open. Choose a classic or flush face, finished to match the tilt-and-turn windows we build, the kind that swing inward so you clean the glass from inside.

Fully future-proof
Our S 8000 and LINEAR front doors are 82.5 mm deep with five insulating chambers, so they keep the heat in. Steel and corner reinforcements keep them sturdy, and a weatherboard and layered seals at the threshold keep out driving rain. Locks and hinges are Winkhaus, with Cardinal insulated glass set in the GEALAN frame.

Front Door and French window thresholds for accessible living
The S 8000 threshold is only 20 mm high, so it works well for wheelchair-accessible homes. An aluminum cover plate makes it tough, and several layers of seals keep it airtight and rain-tight.

Lift & Slide Doors
For wide openings to the deck or yard, see our lift and slide patio doors, built up to 15'8" wide.
Panes
The modern glazing technology used in windows means that not only are interior spaces warm, but noise is also reduced. Good heat retention and noise reduction improve relaxation and effective work. Security glass packages provide additional peace of mind, while a rich variety of ornamental designs increases the attractiveness of the panes.

Double-Glazing
Double-glazing is the standard in modern windows. The panes are separated by a cavity filled with argon gas, which has far better insulation properties than air.

Good heat retention

Noise reduction

Triple-Glazing
Triple-glazing is intended for those who want highly efficient heat retention. The third pane naturally increases the space between the panes, increasing the effectiveness of the insulation.
-
Effective lessening of heat loss
-
Even better noise reduction
